Drawing upon his past experiences in sports management, Douglas P. Gerber brings a team-first, objective oriented approach to Stanton & Gasdick to develop litigation strategies for and with the firm’s clients.

Douglas applies this outlook and approach as to his practice, where he specializes in various areas of business law and real estate law. His philosophy for success mirrors and is embodied in Stanton & Gasdick’s continuing commitment to excellence to the practice of law and to its clients.
A native Floridian, Douglas attended the University of Florida and earned his Bachelor’s degree in 1992 and his Master’s degree in 1996. Douglas attended law school at the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, where he earned his juris doctor in 2005. He also served as a staff member and as an Articles Editor for the Nova Law Review. Douglas was also a member of the Pro Bono Honor Society.
Douglas currently serves on the Florida Bar Small Claims Rules Committee and is a member of the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar. He is a past Chairman of the Real Property Committee of the Orange County Bar Association and has served as a member of the Florida Creditors’ Bar Association. Douglas is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
